Equality: Awareness Raising

Our aim is to promote wider understanding and awareness of equality and human rights within the London Borough of Bexley.

We have provided free training to a number of organisations/people in Bexley. 

This includes:

Bexley Churches Housing Association, Bexley Council, Bexley Council for Race & Equality, Bexley Voluntary Service Council, Bexley Women’s Aid, Carer’s Association, Erith Citizens Advice Bureau, Gateway, MIND in Bexley, Resources Plus, Samaritans Network, Sisters Plus, SOVA, St Augustine’s School, Trust Thamesmead, Bexleyheath Citizens Advice Bureau, Bexley and Bromley Advocacy.

The training has included:

  • Equality and Human Rights
  • Equality Act 2010
  • Disability rights under the Equality Act 2010
  • Equality Act 2010 – how organisations can make use of it.

We have provided training on benefits, employment, housing, debt and consumer rights to Migrants.
